Uttaratantra Shastra with Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche – June 14-16, 2013
In this weekend of teachings Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche will continue his exposition of the classic Māhayāna text on buddha nature, the Uttaratantra Shastra. This foundational text stands at the heart of the Great Vehicle’s teaching that each and every living being possesses a fundamentally pure awakened nature and therefore has the potential to awaken to perfect buddhahood. Kongtrul Rinpoche, with his joyful and insightful teaching style, will bring the wisdom of these age-old teachings to light in a way that makes them accessible and inspiring to practitioners in the modern world.
Kurukulle Drupcho with Lama Tsultrim Sangpo June 17-19, 2013
During this feast offering practice, Lama Tsultrim Sangpo will lead students in accumulating mantras for world peace and to overcome obstacles on the path to liberation. The practice of Kurukulle comes from the collection of termas, or hidden treasures, known as the Chokling Tersar. Kurukulle is the feminine embodiment of enlightened wisdom and appears as a semi-wrathful dakini skilled in magnetizing all possible resources. Open to all.
