Opening to Awakened Awareness through Unconditional Love and Compassion
Lama John Makransky
March 8 - 10
Join the developer of Innate Compassion-Wisdom Training (ICT), Lama John Makransky, in deepening the experience of our innate awakened capacity. In this practice, we become receptive to the unconditioned openness, compassion, wisdom, and peace of our buddha nature by participating in a field of unconditional love for self and others.
Parts of us, often unconsciously, prevent us from becoming more fully receptive to the qualities of awakening. This can impede even long-time practitioners from much fuller access to awakened awareness. With newly developed elements of ICT, Lama John will show us how the compassionate, healing powers of our buddha nature can help realign all parts of ourselves with that nature. Then our innate awakened awareness can increasingly manifest of itself, unleashing its powers of discernment and loving responsiveness in action, while empowering all other practices of awakening.
This retreat is both for Buddhists who wish to deepen their experience of awakening, and for people of all faiths and backgrounds who seek an accessible way to cultivate unconditional powers of love, compassion, and discernment for action. Guided meditations, explanation of key concepts, and discussion with participants to clarify and empower practice.
