Tara’s Triple Excellence Program: Inner Tara Sadhana Retreat

Lama Tenzin Sangpo

October 17 - 24

Gomde California is delighted to announce that Lama Tenzin will be leading us in a week-long retreat on the practice of the Inner Tara Sadhana this October. Lama will give detailed instruction in the sadhana, and we will practice together each day.

For students who are already in the Tara’s Triple Excellence Program, the inner Tara practice is part of the Third Excellence, and receiving these teachings from Lama Tenzin along with practicing together in the retreat will be an excellent support as you move into the Third Excellence.

To attend this retreat, students must have first received the Inner Tara empowerment, which Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche will be giving on August 17, during his seminar at Gomde California.

Anyone interested in this practice is invited to join us, even if you have not yet completed a part of Tara’s Triple Excellence online meditation program.

The inner Tara sadhana retreat is related to the Third Excellence part II, the practice of yoga tantra. Yoga tantra practices are very special as they are regarded as the connecting link between the lower and the higher tantras. While the view of yoga tantra is nearly equal to that of the higher tantras, the outer conduct with its emphasis on diet, cleanliness, and proper conduct is still present and borrowed from kriya tantra. There is a marked emphasis on meditation and visualization practice.

Registration for the program will open soon.
