Work Week and Teachings

With Khenpo Tsondru Sangpo

May 17 - 27, 2019

This year we are hosting a special 10-day Work Week in preparation for a busy summer of seminars and retreats. In particular, we invite our sangha members to join us in developing and beautifying the land for our 21stAnniversary celebration and teachings with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. We’ll be hanging prayer flags, painting the Lama House, building benches and tables, gardening, laying stone along the paths, hanging lanterns in the campgrounds, constructing a communal tent, and engaging in a whole host of preparatory activities.

As an offering to our volunteers, Khenpo Tsondru Sangpo from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery will join us for 7 days of evening teachings during Work Week (May 18th– 25th), on a Madhyamika text of his choice. These teachings will outline the fundamental view of the Great Middle Way and are offered free of charge to our residents, staff, and volunteers. Come lend a strong hand during the day and an attentive ear at the night.

Please let us know you will be joining us through an email to director@gomdeusa.org.
